retsnom? - Thanks a lot. I've been wanting to create a computer game. I'm studying it right now and I can't wait for part three and so on.

HelpMe!!? I've been trying to get the whole "building" part to work for maybe over an hour. I did everything right and have deleted everything over and over and re-tried but all I keep getting is: "console - Debug" uses an invalid compiler. Skipping... Nothing to be done.

What am I doing wrong?

yomom? -i need help i got up to the part where i typed in the code on code::blocks but when i hit run nutin happens please help!

Nik? - well, it's not a game, and the tut doesn't explain the C++ code, so people who are new to Irrlicht won't understand it

Deathbrush? - This is a step by step to show functionality, it will become a more fully featured example soon I'm sure. As to the C++, Irrlicht has excellent documentation of code, so it is easy to look up all the functions if you need. Personally I found this very helpful, I'm teaching C++ to several people for a upcoming project so they can assist with more then content creation, and I will be referring them to this series when they begin working with sdks soon.

Aaron? Very Nice, but my game says it cant load the sound/music file when i press S. theyre in the right folder and have the right name.

Erik The code on page 2 of the tutorial has been corrected, should work now.

Bunny? Thanks for the tutorial, helped me much!

Andy? Question: I did everything as written in the article, but I get an error when compiling the code.

Erik Maybe you didn't download the recommended versions of the software? Use Irrlicht 1.3.1, irrEdit 0.7.1 and irrKlang 1.0.

Normality Bytes Also, make sure you link the correct versions of the DLL's. Irrlicht contains several libraries (for the various environments / compilers) that have the same filename but reside in different folders. You might want to post the error code as well - that may give those of us without clairevoyance a chance to help ;)

elf Thank you alot for this tutorial. Where is the next part of the tutorial. Ive done Part One and Part Two however you said at the end "the next part of this tutorial will show you how to make your game less like a flight smilulation with a goblin and more like a game" or something like that. Either post the next part here (if you have made it) or better still email me on danieljamesfew@hotmail.co.uk. Please make the subject 'Game Tut' if you can so i know to read it, otherwise i might mistake it as junk mail. Thank you a lot. Elf

Ps. Great Tutorial really helped me :P Tnx.

adi? Question: I did everything as written in the article, but me too get an error when i select 'Run' option.

I am getting the following error: Unable to open scene file: scenes/game.irr

Pete did you change the name of the scene? if so change "game.irr" to the name that you gave it.

adi? Question: I have followed the steps from part 1: My machine is getting hang when i run the program with animated image. NOTE: but system run the program successfully for any other normal image.

Please could you please let me know whether this is related to hardware issue?
