CryENGINE
CryEngine is the 3D game engine which was developed by the german company Crytek for the game FarCry. It is currently available in version 2, witch is being used in the game Crysis.
CryEngine is known to be using a lot of advanced graphics techniques and new features of modern 3D graphics hardware, creating a very realistic environment and good-looking graphics, but also has been critised for its big appetite for fast graphics cards.
