Half-Life 2 Cheats
To use cheats in Half-Life 2, it is necessary to add a parameter when starting up the game. For this, edit the shortcut of Half-Life 2 by right clicking it and selecting 'Properties'. Then, modify the 'target' field and add a "-console" or in some versions a "-applaunch -dev -tconsole" at the end, so that the field looks like
"C:\Program Files\Half-Life2\hl2.exe" -console
After this, it is possible to open the console in the game using the [~] key. The following cheat codes can be typed in now:
